Oculus is a QuickTime 3.0 enhanced Macintosh WebCam. It allows an unlimited number
of captions, formatted however you please, and transmission to a remote site or saved to a local
file at an interval that you request. It also creates time-lapsed movies.
Oculus is simple to set up and use. Because Oculus uses QuickTime, it is compatible with
any QuickTime capable video digitizer.
Oculus' features include

• Time and Date captions
• Time lapse movie creation
• Image captions with alpha channels, key colors, and effect filtering
• Text captions with alpha channels
• Random and Sequential Caption display
• Audio Threshold trigger
• Video Motion trigger
• Separate triggers for motion detection, movie frame creation, and WebCam image

Oculus will work on MacOS computers with QuickTime 3.0 installed. Oculus has been tested on
Quadra 700, 840av, PowerMac 6100/7100/7300/8100/8500/8600/9600/G3/iMac. It is expected to run on any MacOS computer with System 7.6 or better, QuickTime 3.0 and a video digitzer and camera.
Some previous issues with ixMicro's ixTV and iRez's CapSure cards have been addressed and those
two digitizers now work fine. USB camera support has been improved, but as always, you should use the latest version of your camera's drivers and Apple's USB extensions.

Oculus - $20
After we receive notification from Kagi of your payment, we will send you an access key
which will allow you to save the FTP information in your configuration files. Without
the key, Oculus is still fully functional, however you'll have to re-set your FTP information
every time you restart Oculus.
